Two passers-by had to be rushed to hospital after a lorry full of potatoes overturned on the roadway in the center of Montcornet town in northern France.
On Tuesday afternoon, a driver of Polish origin reportedly lost control of his delivery truck, full of potatoes, in the heart of the town of Montcornet, local media France 3 Hauts-de-France reported.
The truck reportedly ended up on its side, spilling potatoes onto the roadway and sidewalk, as well as onto two parked vehicles.
In total, four people were injured, including two who required emergency transport to hospital, according to the French media.
The intervention of more than forty firefighters would have been necessary to secure the roadway and take care of the victims.
