The Loro Parque opens next Saturday, May 1 after 13 months closed due to the covid pandemic. Canaries who have the annual park card will be able to attend two days before, from April 29. The general public will be able to access the park from Thursday to Monday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the entrance is reserved for cruise passengers, who want to do bubble tours and not coincide with other tourists.
Its president, Wolfgang Kiessling says that they want to be pioneers in the economic recovery of Tenerife and remain open for the first tourists who arrive on the island. In addition, he assures that there are already Europeans visiting the Canary Islands and trusts the good rate of vaccination to increase the number of tourists in the coming months.
Regarding the reopening of Siam Park, they prefer to wait and see how Loro Parque evolves to play it safe, although they hope that the date will be this summer.
