Lorient. Ticket: solidarity, it wears gold and blue colors

Here and there, in the country of Lorient (Morbihan), citizens get busy. Individually, in a group of friends, of inhabitants of a building. All in generosity. Donations are multiplying, initiatives are flourishing, in order to bring aid and support to the Ukrainian people, plagued by Russian invasion. It happens spontaneously. Here, in this momentum, there is no order to put.

A march for peace

Saturday March 5, 2022, after three gatherings initiated by various political actors and associations, a march for peace takes place. An event organized at the call of Mouvement de la Paix, the League of Human Rights, Amnesty International, France Palestine Solidarity, the CGT, Solidaires, CFDT, PCF, France insoumise, PS, MJCF, the environmental pole… This in fact of the world, that makes them banners.

If it is not a question of denying the sincerity and the commitment of all these participants, it is necessary to avoid the pitfall of recovery and to convey a single and unique citizen message: stop the war on Ukraine. Here the words weigh, the attitudes must be decent in the face of the tears of the Ukrainians of the local community. Last Saturday, we were far from it.

solidarity, unity

Solidarity, unity – pretty words – are apolitical. A microphone should not be a platform. Or you have to cut it. Solidarity, unity, must not suffer from whistles, from small local quarrels. Decency is perhaps to meet as simple citizens – remember the first rally after Charlie Hebdo – to better defend the colors gold and blue. The only ones who must float high and strong.
