- “La Lluvia”, directed by Jesús Prohaño, Micha Vidal and Cristian Victorino.
The Loretan film “La Lluvia”, directed by Jesús Prohaño, Micha Vidal and Cristian Victorino, was selected from dozens of proposals that were presented to be part of the Peruvian Film Contest that is part of the Seventh Film Week organized by the Faculty of Communication from the University of Lima.
The film shows us the Amazonian nature as a complex dynamic composed of animals, plants, native communities and the water cycle as a vital element, which perpetuates its existence. They have coexisted through countless generations in perfect harmony. However, the arrival of foreign people who are unaware of natural cycles and extract their resources, endanger their perpetuity. However, the jungle, through the rain and its rivers, has the power and knowledge necessary to heal and restore everything.
Loreto’s proposal will be exhibited between November 12 and 20, free of charge and through a virtual platform. For this, those interested must register in advance on the web: www.semanadelcine.com
