The mayor of Pontevedra It has been shown outraged with the accusations of the PP on legality of his house in Marcón.
Fernández Lores assures that his home is totally legal, that “There is no illegality or irregularity”, and even pointed out that it has five licenses. However, he recognized that in his day, at the end of the 90s, he did not request the first occupation license, among other reasons because at that time “It was not mandatory.”
But the mayor of Pontevedra went further by accusing “The right side of Pontevedra” of this harassment campaign, a performance that he described as “Political trickery and malice”. The mayor assured that for 22 years he knows very well the place he occupies, “leading an alternative government to the right of Pontevedra”, and for this reason he said he felt like “the most investigated mayor in the country.” Lores says that in these years everything has been said against him, such as that he had apartments in the Plaza da Ferrería, something that is not true, “they always shoot at min but they always drink water”, and he invited the PP to ” keep investigating because you won’t find anything ”.
Fernández Lores pointed out that in the municipality there must be thousands of houses without a first occupation license, and that they are not illegal for that reason, including the Montecelo hospital, which in one of its extensions does not have a construction or first occupation license. But he affirmed that the Council never opened any disciplinary proceedings for it.
Also since the PSOE has supported the mayor of Pontevedra. The socialist spokesman, Tino Fernández, said that the local government is managing the Council and does not have time to go “removing or dung” or to get into ridiculous and pathetic fights.
However, the PP today accused the BNG of lying for affirming Anabel Gulías and Xaquín Moreda that it was not mandatory to request a first occupation license at the end of the 90s. Rafa Dominguez assures that it was mandatory, and reiterates his accusations of the irregular urban situation in which the mayor lived for 22 years.
These strong demonstrations were made by the mayor of Pontevedra in a press conference that he shared with the PSOE spokesman, Tino Fernández, to announce the final amount of the municipal budgets for this year. Accounts that will finally be around 112 million euros, with an amount of 100 million in investments.
