THE SUN. Loreen returns to Melodifestivalen.
SVT confirms that the double Eurovision winner will participate in the final.
“That’s right,” writes project manager Anders Wistbacka to Aftonbladet.
A year ago stood Loreen Talhaoui40, as the winner for the second time in the Melodifestivalen with the song “Tattoo” and two months later she also won the Eurovision song contest for the second time.
To be praised and handed over the songbird
Now she appears in the Melodifestivalen final again, SVT confirms for Aftonbladet.
“It is true that Loreen is coming to the final both to be celebrated and to hand over the songbird,” writes Melodifestivalen’s project manager Anders Wistbacka in an SMS to Aftonbladet.

Streamed half a billion times
The song “Tattoo”, which has been streamed almost half a billion times since last year, will also be selected for Melodifestivalen’s Hall of Fame during Saturday’s final.
Loreen won the Melodifestivalen and then the Eurovision song contest for the first time in 2012, with “Euphoria”.
The final of Melodifestivalen 2024 will be broadcast on Saturday 9 March 20.00 on SVT and SVT Play.
