Loredana, the criminal from Mangalia who killed her best friend, will be behind bars for another 30 days.
The decision comes after the measure of preventive detention that expires today was extended by the Court of Constanța.
Loredana was brought to the court at 12 o’clock, in a police van, directly from the Constanța IPJ prison.
Since she was detained by the police, Loredana admitted her guilt. She stated that she regretted the act and specified that she was not aware of what she had done.

Criminalists believe that the young woman had discernment at the time she committed the crime. This explains the fact that later she showed cold blood, when she put her friend in the suitcase, took her to the park and then returned to the scene of the crime, cleaned the place, and finally rested a little to go to work afterwards.
“Loredana asked to remain behind bars, because she does not believe that she should be set free in relation to what happened.
She was also expecting the most severe measure that can be taken by the court”, i.e. “a 20-year sentence”, declared Cristian Ion, Loredana’s lawyer.
The penalty for aggravated murder can be up to 20 years in prison, but the lawyer who defends Loredana hopes that she will not receive more than eight years.

After realizing that she had taken her friend’s life, Loredana devised a plan to escape unpunished and put the body in a suitcase which she later transported in a taxi. Initially, he intended to go with the suitcase to Vaslui county, but he changed his mind when the taxi driver from Mangalia refused the ride.

In the end, she arrived at the Tosca park in Mangalia, where she placed the body under a bench, then returned to the hotel room where she was staying. There, she began to erase the traces of the crime and then got rid of the weapon that took Alina’s life. The next day, the young woman went to work, where she was taken by the police who investigated the crime.
Loredana Atănăsoaie was pre-arrested for the next 30 days, being accused of murder, which she admitted both to the prosecutors and to the judges through the statement she gave.
