L’Oréal China has officially designated Publicis Groupe as its media planning and buying agency in its territory. Present since 1997, the cosmetics group markets 25 brands there and employs 10,000 employees. The contract “three-year period officially takes effect at the start of the year“says a press release. The group has created an ad hoc and tailor-made agency called OneL’Oréal. If the budget amount has not been communicated, it “covers strategic planning across all L’Oréal media channels in the country, including performance marketing“. Publicis is strengthening its presence in the Chinese market, eight months after winning McDonald’s media budget in mainland China.
