Mods for Skyrim have been incredibly popular since the game’s release in 2011. Countless dedicated fans have worked hard to create mods for Bethesda’s beloved RPG, bringing everything imaginable to the magical realm of Tamriel. An upcoming mod for Skyrim may be the best deal for true fans of the game who are hungry for even more high-quality content.
Lordbound brings an incredible amount of new content to the role-playing game. The mod takes place in the newly created Druadach region and claims to add over 60 hours of content to Skyrim. During this time, players will complete more than 40 different quests and discover more than 50 dungeons.
The mod will also add some truly unique additions, such as brand new voice dialogue for NPC characters, new weapons, armor and spells, and introduce the biggest story quest in the entire game.
The project was first announced in 2014, and information about it has been very slow over the years. The first trailer for Lordbound was released in 2016 and gave only a small glimpse of it. According to the project’s moddb page, the project has been stopped and started several times throughout its life, but judging by its last blog post in 2023, the project is very much alive.
Kiria, one of the mod’s developers, hinted at the game’s release timeline: “I can say with medium to high confidence that we are targeting late 2024.”
