Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series appears to be heading the Game of Thrones route.
Interesting news. The Amazon series Lord of the Rings will be recorded again after things came to a halt due to the corona virus. A new casting call hints at what creators JD Payne and Patrick McKay have in mind.
When Amazon struck a deal with the Tolkien family for the rights to the franchise, there was a clear point of reference. That, of course, was director Peter Jackson’s famous trilogy. But we didn’t quite expect that people would now choose to show naked in the series. That doesn’t really seem to fit into Tolkien’s world as we know it.

Nude in the series
The One Ring reports on the basis of a reliable source that there are casting calls for the series, which show that actors who register themselves “feel comfortable with being naked”. According to the site, that does not fit with the franchise and one should not Game of Thrones want to make it.

It is of course not entirely certain, but it does indicate what kind of series we can expect.
We are starting to see casting calls for actors “comfortable with nudity”
AMAZON DON’T DO IT
DO NOT!
This isn’t Game of Thrones. Hedonism did not bring down Numenor.
