The Councilor for Education of the City Council of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has reported the opening of transport aid for high school students and training cycles residing in the districts of Lorca.
Pérez explained that “from the City Council of Lorca, through the Department of Education, we are going to once again promote the line of online transport aid for high school students and the training cycles that reside in the districts of our broad term municipal with the objective of facilitating movement to the study centers located in our municipality ”.
The mayor has detailed that “the requirements to attend this line of aid are to study Baccalaureate or Training Cycles during the academic year 2021-2022 in any of the teaching centers located in the urban center of Lorca; reside in a district of the municipal term in which to travel to the educational center where they study these studies there is interurban public transport by regular bus line and that the movement between the residence address and the teaching center is carried out in buses of the lines of regular passenger transportation on the school days corresponding to the academic calendar ”.
“The subsidy contemplates that, from the City Council of Lorca, a receipt book of nominal travel vouchers is delivered to the student, that is, these vouchers can only be used by the beneficiary holder of the aid and whose use will make the cost of the ticket is only 50 cents. This is a reduction of 50 percent, which we already implemented last year and which we maintain ”.
Pérez Segura has indicated that “the deadline for submitting applications will open from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, of which the City Council of Lorca will be informed of immediately, and this period will end on September 9, 2021 ”.
The Councilor for Education has specified that “the application form will be provided through the website of the City Council of Lorca, www.lorca.es, in the centers in which these post-compulsory education teachings are taught and in the Department of Education and interested persons should submit applications preferably electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the Lorca City Council or in the General Register of the City Council of Lorca ”.
Antonia Pérez has shown that “the purpose of this Government team is to facilitate the movements of the students of Baccalaureate and Training Cycles residents in our districts and enrolled in a public education center in the municipality of Lorca so that they have one more incentive and municipal support to continue their studies and academic training.
