The Undersecretary for Health Promotion and Prevention, Hugo López-Gatell assured that there was no reduction in the budget for vaccination programs.
In a morning conference, the official said that some media may be contributing to misinformation by not having the correct data regarding this budget.
According to López-Gatell, the only vaccination budget that was reduced was that for Covid-19 vaccines, which was always an “extraordinary” allocation.
Under this logic, he explained that the Universal Vaccination Program had a budget of 3.25 billion pesos, increasing 34.7 percent.
