Loose Women stars are expressing sadness following the departure of fellow panelist Carol McGiffin due to a “contract issue”. The presenter, who first joined the talk show in 2000 and returned in June 2018 after a five-year hiatus, recently took to Instagram to announce her exit, stating that ITV had “forced” her decision. Her co-stars Denise Welch, Frankie Bridge, Brenda Edwards, Nadia Sawalha, Charlene White, Coleen, and Kelle Bryan expressed their support and affection for Carol. Previously, Carol had revealed that her future on Loose Women was up in the air after a “difficult contract issue” that caused her stress. Although it was her decision to leave the show, she expressed feeling upset over being “forced” to make it due to a contract that was “unjust” and “unworkable”.
