Looking for Vocalist and Bass Player to Join Stoner Drum/Guitar Duo

We are a drum/guitar duo, clearly stoner oriented, looking for 2 musicians following the departure of former members.

What are we looking for?

– A vocalist: a beautiful voice… preferably creaky and gravelly, which would come to rest delicately on our heavy apocalyptic riffs, like a pretty colorful butterfly on the desiccated skull of a buffalo in the middle of the desert. If that voice can also play the guitar, that’s even better. An apocalyptic riff, it sounds better in stereo.

– A bass player: someone who knows how to play… that thing. But if ! The big guitar, with not many strings, that makes big BONG BONGs when you hit them! Sense of rhythm required, but not as much as drive, frenzy, and stoner spirit.

OR

– The Holy Grail: a vocalist/bassist. No need to be called Lemmy, but let’s be honest, the more things you have in common with him (belt buckle or hat included), the better it will be.

What we do ?

Repeats. We’re not going to lie to each other, we don’t have time to dig for compositions. But it is not the desire that is missing, so to see in practice. And it will depend on you too. In the meantime, we’ll keep busy with ready-made songs, borrowed from the following groups:

– Orange Goblin
– Queen of the StoneAge
-Fu Manchu
– Clutch
– Mastodon
– Red Fang
– 1000Mods
– Pelican (not the animal, the group, huh)

…And to go where?

We’ll talk about the Zenith tour another time. In the meantime, if we manage to prepare a stylish setlist, and we can go and make some noise in bars, at the music festival, or in small local festoches, and that will be good already!

Where and when do we rehearse?

La Vapeur (Dijon), once every week, even 2 weeks. We do not ask for more availability than that, but not less either.

In real life, already, if you sing/play (almost) well, that you are not allergic to the bands mentioned above, that you are motivated and that you want to go and have a beer in time also, do not hesitate to contact me. We promise, we’re nice.
