At work at church
On December 3, 990,000 spectators saw the three artists, including Christiaan, at work in the church. To be precise, the church of Persingen, the village where Daphne Deckers grew up. Christiaan is delighted with the candidate they can portray: “The eyes are bright blue and they suit what I draw, with blue.”
Looking back
In the end, Daphne doesn’t take Christia’s portrait home, so that will be it auctioned off. At the time of writing, the highest bid is €965. The auction is possible until Friday 9 December 12:00. The final amount will go to the Krajicek Foundation. Curious? Watch the broadcast can here.
