The floods hit Malaysia since last weekend still soaking a number of points in the country. Drone video shows housing and vehicles in Pahang in flooded conditions on Monday (20/12).
The Malaysian government warned that heavy rains and storms would still occur in the next few days.
The government’s response in dealing with floods was criticized for being too slow and making conditions even more worrying.
More than 60,000 residents have been evacuated to safety, while more than 12 people have been declared dead due to flooding.
Tens of thousands of joint personnel have also been deployed to assist in the evacuation of residents.
