Translation exclusive : Investigators on Facebook have discovered a strange-looking man in a black and white photo from the 1940s in which he appears to be using a very high-tech device.
The mystery takes place in 1943 Reykjavík, Iceland, and shows the man around deployed American soldiers during World War II, holding his hand to his ear as a modern cellphone user would, according to The Sun.
It didn’t take long for social media to throw their thoughts into the ring, insisting that the guy must be a time traveler. According to the New York Post.
The image was featured in a YouTube conspiracy theory video titled “10 Actual Cases of Time Travel That Can’t Be Explained.”
Surprisingly, the theory that the man was working as a spy for the Axis powers has not been put forward by any of the interested parties. Others said he simply used a tobacco pipe and scratched his ear while taking the picture.
