Al-Marsad Newspaper: Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales and wife of British Prince William, was exposed to an awkward situation as she met people who had gathered to welcome her and her husband as they were visiting a charity providing services for people with social or emotional difficulties in Ireland.
“Nice to meet you, but it would be better if you were in your country, because Ireland is for the Irish,” a woman told the princess and filmed the scene with her cell phone.
As for the Princess of Wales, she kept her smile and composure and developed the smile into a short laugh to alleviate what surprised her.
The princess and her husband visited Northern Ireland for a day, which is part of the “United Kingdom”, which also includes 3 other territories: England, Scotland and Wales.
