Longer travel times due to work at CS next weekend

This coming weekend and the weekend of 6 and 7 November there will be nuisance due to work at and around Amsterdam Central Station. ProRail installs extra signals, removes switches and renews tracks, so that in the future more trains can enter the station in quick succession. Passengers will also have more space on the platforms.

In both weekends, the work will affect train traffic to, from and via Amsterdam Central. As a result, the travel time may be longer than planned.

This weekend, 9 and 10 October, there will be no trains between Amsterdam Central and Amsterdam Muiderpoort. And between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Haarlem.

On Saturday, November 6, there will be no trains between Amsterdam Central Station and Amsterdam Muiderpoort/ Weesp/ Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena.

In both weekends, travelers must take into account detours, an extra transfer or replacement metro and/or bus transport. International travelers should also be aware of another arrival or departure station.
