Due to rain, accidents and a busy rush hour, there are long traffic jams on the roads in North Holland. Road users should expect a lot of delays.
There is particular drama on the A7 between Purmerend Noord and Zaandam. There is a traffic jam of about an hour and a half. This is because two lanes are closed due to an accident.
There is already a 7 kilometer traffic jam on the same A7 between Hoorn and Purmerend-Noord, which is also where delays are increasing. Right now it’s ten minutes.
Other roads such as the A9 between Alkmaar and Amstelveen, the N203 between Alkmaar and Amsterdam and the N247 between Hoorn and Amsterdam are also slowly but surely silting up. The delays there are currently even shorter, and you should expect around 20 minutes of delay.
