The 27-year-old Ozols signed a contract with “Riga” club in 2015 and played there for eight years.
In total, Ozols played 132 games in “Riga” shirt and did not concede a single goal in 65 matches. Ozols became the champion of Latvia’s top league three times, won the Latvian Cup trophy once and won Latvia’s second strongest championship once.
Ozols has played 15 games as part of the Latvian national team.
At the beginning of his career, Ozols represented “Liepājas Metalurgu” and “Spartak”. He has not only played as a goalkeeper.
In the past season, “Auda”, triumphing in the Latvian Cup, won the first title in the club’s history, but finished the Latvian championship in fifth place.
