The Moselle, Metz, Nancy, Epinal, the Côte d’Or, ending with the Saône-et-Loire and the Rhône: the route of the Blue Way crosses the East of France, offering a great diversity of landscapes and beautiful heritage and cultural discoveries, such as the Pompidou Center in Metz, Place Stanislas in Nancy or the Abbey of Tournus.
The more seasoned will complete the route in about ten days, but the Voie Bleue can also be discovered in sections, taking advantage of a well-marked route, taking place mainly on cycle paths and with little elevation.

How much does it cost ?
In the Lyon area, a night in the Cerisaie bed and breakfast will cost you around €110 per night. Around Nancy, the Hermitage gite will welcome you with rooms, from €100 per night, breakfast included.
If you want to travel at a lower cost, you can opt for camping. A pitch with a tent and bicycles will cost you between 10 and 15 € per night, but you will need to be well equipped to carry all your camping equipment on your bike.
Also include the cost of your return train ticket in your budget. The Voie Bleue is indeed very well served by rail, so you can find many stations on your journey, to return to your starting point.
Please note: if transporting bicycles is free in a TER, you will be charged in addition to your ticket, if you are traveling on a TGV line.
