This incident became known through a video that went viral on social media. Amon Djobo scolded two officers from the Ministry of Social Affairs. Amon said that the distribution of assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH) must pass through the local government and not be distributed by the local legislature or DPRD.
“Don’t use politics like that, she (Risma) doesn’t know the process of assisting the pattern of handling, the technical assistance in handling this assistance has reached the bottom. The head of the Alor DPRD, Enny Anggrek, even visited the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police to consult about the conflict. Enny Anggrek assessed that Amon Djobo had embarrassed Risma.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, assigned the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Viktor Laiskodat to handle the conflict between Amon and Risma. Tito hopes Viktor apologizes to Risma, because Viktor is Amon’s boss.
“Regarding the Regent of Alor, I have been there. I communicated with the Governor. The governor is an extension of the central government. We ask for communication with the Regent of Alor,” Tito told AFP while visiting the Banyuwangi Public Service Mall, Friday (4/6).
