Long Silence, NASA Opens Up Voice About Sunrise from the West

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – An upload had caused a stir some time ago because it said the sun rose from the west. Even this claim made the United States Space Agency (NASA) open its voice.

The post was written in Thai and English. It states that the activity occurred due to a magnetic reversal. It doesn’t stop there, as if to support this statement, the author claims that NASA supports this statement.

“Earth will rotate in the opposite direction causing the Sun to emerge from the west side. Researchers believe that we are moving towards a magnetic field reversal that will mark the end of mankind and near the end of the world,” the post said.

NASA has also opened up and denied the claim. Bettina Inclan, NASA’s Associate Administrator for Communications, said neither NASA nor any other organization ever made that prediction.

“Neither NASA nor any other scientific organization predicts the Sun will rise from the west,” he explained.

Bettina confirmed the magnetic reversal phenomenon. The phenomenon is real and has happened, and scientists are said to have studied it.

But Bettina said the reversal of the magnet didn’t make the Earth spin the other way, nor did it change the direction the Sun was rising.

“The reversal of the magnetic field is indeed a real phenomenon that has occurred several times in the past and scientists around the world are studying it, but the statement that this causes the Earth to rotate in the opposite direction which causes the Sun to rise from the west is wrong,” explains Inclan.

But one member of the solar system actually experienced the Sun rising from the West. This happens on Earth’s neighboring planet, Venus, which rotates backwards.

Venus also has a long planetary rotation, which is 243 days. And it takes 225 Earth days for the planet to orbit the Sun.

Thus, the Sun appears on Venus only twice a year or once in 117 days.
