La Paz, Baja California Sur.- The Tax Administration Service (SAT) in Baja California Sur informs of the imminent closure of the period to submit the 2023 annual return for individuals.

Daicy Gladis Castillo Rodríguez, decentralized administrator of Taxpayer Services, highlighted the importance of remembering that the deadline to submit the declaration expires this Tuesday, April 30.
It was emphasized that there are still appointments available until that day, with extended hours from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., to facilitate access to the SAT offices. If you require the computer room for any procedure, no appointment is required.

Individuals are required to file their declaration if they have income additional to salaries and wages, such as business activities, interest, dividends, among others.
Castillo Rodríguez also mentioned the availability of online tools such as the payroll viewer and the personal deductions viewer to facilitate the preparation of the return.
Humberto Beltrán Encinas, decentralized Collection administrator, reported on payment options in installments for balances owed.
They can be paid in up to six installments, with the first installment due on April 30. The digital tools offered by the SAT, such as the viewer of invoices issued and received, are useful to verify the information necessary for the declaration.
LONG LINES AT THE SAT PRIOR TO CLOSURE
Castillo Rodríguez highlighted an increase in work during the national SAT campaign, with approximately 100 thousand daily appointments and 40 thousand daily signatures.
In Baja California Sur, 500 appointments are scheduled daily in La Paz and 300 in Los Cabos, due to the annual declaration. He highlighted the interest on the part of taxpayers in complying with their tax obligations.
Regarding declarations filed nationally, there was an increase of 26% compared to the previous year. A total of 8 million 396 thousand 704 statements with a cut-off date of April 24. In Baja California Sur, 58,660 declarations have been submitted to the same date.
There are 290 thousand taxpayers under the salaries and wages regime who are not required to file the declaration, but can do so if they have deductions for tax refunds.
A call was made to the 39,755 taxpayers who had not yet submitted their declaration to do so before the deadline, remembering that there is no extension.
THERE ARE FACILITIES IF YOU WANT TO COMPLY
Services available to vulnerable people were highlighted, such as walk-in care for older adults, people with disabilities and pregnant women. In addition, preference is given to those who come from remote areas of northern Baja California Sur.

The SAT in Baja California Sur expressed its commitment to providing support and guidance to taxpayers during the closing of the 2023 Annual Declaration Campaign, with the aim of facilitating compliance with their tax obligations.
Taxpayers were stressed the importance of verifying the information before submitting their return, including having their own bank account registered and using the tools available at www.sat.gob.mx to guarantee its accuracy.
