Tasikmalaya News, (harapanrakyat.com), – On a long holiday during the Covid-19 pandemic, tourists on vacation to Mount Galunggung are quite busy, Sunday (4/4/2021).

However, most visitors are still dominated by local tourists.

There are also some visitors from outside Tasikmalaya such as from Bandung and Jakarta.

Mountain manager cluster Galunggung Dudung Suhaeri confirmed that during this long holiday, the level of tourist visits to Mount Galunggung Tasikmalaya has increased.

“Alhamdulillah, there is an increase during this long weekend, especially on Saturdays and Sundays,” said Dudung to HR Online.

He said, most visitors who come to Galunggung are still from the Tasikmalaya region.

“But there were some visitors who used the B and D leter vehicles,” he said.

Because it is still in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is of course implementing strict health protocols.

Tourists who enter Mount Galunggung will have their body temperature checked, then must wear a mask and wash their hands with soap.

“We also assign Covid Ranger. Their job is to check the temperature of incoming visitors, then write down their names and addresses,” said Dudung.

His side also emphasized to stall owners, to provide a place to wash their hands.

“We apply a strict prokes to visitors to Mount Galunggung, so that there will be no clusters,” he explained.

Although implementing a strict prokes, the management does not require tourists outside Tasikmalaya to bring the results of the swab so they can enter Mount Galunggung.

“Visitors do not have to bring the results of the swab, it is enough with a strict temperature check and prokes, as long as they meet the criteria, namely free of Covid-19, we invite them to enter,” he said. (Apip / R8 / HR Online)
