The Premier League announced the registration of two new cases of the emerging virus Corona in two different clubs, bringing the total number to 8 cases.

The association hopes to complete the competitions as of mid-June, and is engaged in continuous discussions with clubs and stakeholders in order to draw a picture of the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, after it received the government green light to return to the stadiums starting from the beginning of next month.
Nine of the 38 stages remain in the Premier League, and Liverpool lead the standings by 25 points and one game more than the second defending champion Manchester City.
