London tornado destroyed homes and cars in minutes

London police have received reports that the tornado swept through several streets in Barking at about 19.20 on Friday evening. The disaster left behind destroyed fences and walls, damaged cars.

A journalist for the publication, who lives in the area, says that a strong wind suddenly came at 7:15 pm. HaveRagan felled the fence posts, collected rubbish and debris and swayed them “in a circle like a tornado.”

“Garbage and plastic bags swirled like a tornado. It was scary, as they can lift heavy objects,” “I was shocked – I thought the house would collapse,” residents of the area describe what is happening in social networks.

The most interesting thing is that it was all over in “a few minutes”, but that was enough to damage six or seven streets. Leaving the house, people saw houses with damaged roofs and broken windows; and rows of damaged vehicles.

A few minutes later, emergency services arrived at the scene. No injuries were reported.

It all happened so quickly that the police cannot confirm if it was a tornado or some other natural phenomenon.

“At about 7.20 pm, the police were called to report damage to roofs, electrical equipment, street furniture and vehicles on Hulse Avenue and some adjacent roads in the Barking area. This is a weather-related incident during which a lightning strike occurred. We have seen reports of tornadoes, but we cannot confirm this. There are no reports of any casualties, “the police said in a statement.
