London, Jun 12 (EFE).- The London Stock Exchange closed the session this Monday with general gains, with an advance of 0.11%, in a session that was, in general, positive for the titles of the retail sector .
The FTSE-100, the main index in the British capital, advanced 8.33 points, to 7,570.69 points, while the secondary FTSE-250 gained 0.52%, 99.15 points, to 19,190.81 points.
At the close of the stock market, the pound sterling fell 0.69% against the euro, to 1.1621 euros, and lost 0.71% against the US dollar, to 1.2489 dollars.
On the London floor, the winning groups at the close were the online supermarket chain Ocado, which advanced 3.62%, followed by the delivery company Croda International, which registered advances of 3.19%, and the Auto Trader Group, with a rise of 3.11%.
In contrast, the losers of the day were the Fresnillo mining company, with a drop of 4.22%, followed by the telecommunications group Vodafone, which gave up 2.71% and Segro, which registered losses of 2.65%. EFE
