London prepares for the return of the races. With the aim of paving the way for the London Marathon to be held on October 3, this May 15 will be held three 5-kilometer races that will serve as tests for larger events in the future.

The three races will have 3,000 participants in each of them and they will be carried out in different formats, all of them with the public and under strict sanitary control to determine which will be the most viable format for the future.

Participants must bear in mind that the organization will execute the following measures before the test:

  • Take a Covid-19 lateral flow test on Friday, May 14. The organization will send the details on how to order a lateral flow test kit to perform at home or book a test at the local test center, once you have registered.
  • Provide evidence that the lateral flow test was negative to enter the event.
  • They also ask attendees to do home PCR tests before and after the event. It is not necessary to request these tests and they will be automatically sent to attendees before Friday, May 14.
  • Download the official NHS Test and Trace app on your phone before arrival at the event.
  • Complete a short post-event questionnaire.
  • Complete the Reunion 5K in less than 60 minutes.
