On Tuesday night, a police officer in his 40s was arrested and arrested in connection with the disappearance of 33-year-old Sarah Everard who disappeared last Wednesday night.

Not at work
The suspected police officer worked for the Metrepolitian Police. To the channel, police confirm that the man was not at work at the time Everard disappeared, but that he usually worked to protect diplomatic and parliamentary leaders.
It is still not known if the police officer knew the missing woman.
A woman in her 30s has also been arrested in connection with the disappearance, suspected of having helped with the kidnapping. She is being held in custody, the police say The Guardian.

Found remains

“Tonight, detectives and search crews have unfortunately found what appear to be human remains in a wooded area near Asford in Kent,” London’s chief of police, Cressida Dick, said in a press release that evening.
