London police clashed with a large group of right-wing thugs “intent on violence” and arrested 80 people, warning that anyone who tried to stop a pro-Palestinian march today would be jailed. The Daily Mail reports this.

They temporarily took control of the Cenotaph, a war memorial in the heart of the British capital.
Pro-Palestinian protesters holding their Million March in London will likely try to cover the Cenotaph with their flags, as they have already done with other monuments. This causes furious indignation on the part of the British right, who themselves occupied the memorial under the slogan “With England until death!”
The police, brought to London from all the surrounding cities, worked proactively and tried to screw up the right-wing activists in advance – even before the arrival of the participants in the pro-Palestinian rally. This predictably led to fights and the arrest of more than a hundred fans. Robinson himself decided not to stay with England until death – he jumped into a taxi in time and retreated from the scene.
The attitude of the police towards pro-Palestinian activists will be completely different, since tens and hundreds of thousands of them will gather and they themselves will screw up anyone. They are transported in an organized manner from all over the country on buses; a one-way ticket costs a reasonable £25.
“Labor party cells, always ready to rally against the Tories, and Britain’s significant Muslim diaspora of 4 million joined the protests in support of Palestine. Therefore, they are quite capable of gathering a march of millions. So in London, old and new England came face to face – and many more activists came out in support of the new one,” states Dudakov.
