London Cannon Defender Duet Wins 2-1

Arsenal managed to beat West Ham United 2-1 in continuation Premier League. Cannon London’s winning goals came through central defenders.

West Ham vs Arsenal took place at the London Olympic Stadium, Sunday (1/5/2022) early morning WIB. The two teams drew 1-1 in the first half after defender Rob Holding’s goal was answered by Jarrod Bowen.

Arsenal managed to snatch three points from the headquarters of West Ham through goals in the second half. Now it’s defender Gabriel Magalhaes’ turn to list his name on the scoreboard.

The course of the match

Arsenal fired their first shot in the 15th minute through Bukayo Saka. However, the ball that is released can still be blocked by the West Ham defense.

Two minutes later, Arsenal tried to threaten, this time through Eddie Nketiah. Again, these efforts were thwarted by the opponent’s defensive wall.

Arsenal just started to be depressed after the game runs 20 minutes. There were three experiments made by West Ham in the Arsenal penalty box, but all of them did not produce clear chances.

West Ham was able to fire his first shot on goal in the 33rd minute. The ball that Declan Rice released from outside the penalty box was still right at the goalkeeper.

Arsenal opened the scoring 1-0 first in the 38th minute. Rob Holding tore the West Ham goal through a header by utilizing a corner kick.

West Ham managed to equalize the score to 1-1 in first half injury time. Jarrod Bowen volleyed in the penalty box, which Aaron Ramsdale could not stop.

West Ham appeared pressing when the second half had been running for three minutes. A shot was fired by Said Benrahma, but was still blocked by the opponent’s defense.

Arsenal managed to lead 2-1 in the 54th minute. Starting from a corner, the ball then fell to Gabriel Martinelli, who crossed at the far post for Gabriel Magalhaes’ header.

Arsenal did not slack after regaining the advantage. Eddie Nketiah threatened with a shot inside the box, but goalkeeper Lukasz Fabiansi was still able to anticipate.

West Ham slowly tried to take control of the game. On the other hand, Arsenal were able to defend well and launched a counter-attack in the 64th minute through Eddie Nketiah’s shot.
