The British Prime Minister laments the terrible death toll from the coronavirus, which has made the UK one of the worst affected countries.
“The coronavirus has taken a terrible price in our country and today the number of registered deaths has reached 150,000,” Boris Johnson said on his Twitter account on Saturday.
In another part of his message, Johnson expressed his condolences to all families who have lost loved ones.
In addition, he stressed the importance of the vaccination process in the European country, insisting that each person must receive their booster vaccine in order to stop the pandemic.
The United Kingdom has been one of the countries hardest hit by Covid-19 and so far it has registered around 150,154 deaths from this disease.
In fact, the British health authorities have reported this Sunday of 141,472 new infections in the last hours, to which we must add another 97 deaths since the day before.
