Lolita Ritmanis’ album recorded in Riga wins “Grammy”

The compositions of Women Warriors: The Voices of Change were used in an inspiring documentary designed to honor and support women around the world who have fought for justice with courage, strength and heroism and changed the course of history.

Eight prominent Hollywood composers and songwriters – Natalia Bonin, Miriam Catherine, Anne Catherine Dern, Isolde Fair, Star Parody, Pen Cowev, Sharon Farber and Lolita Ritmanis – feature the 800 – year – long struggle for human rights, women ‘s rights and equality.

Participants: Riga Dome Girls’ Choir “Tiara”, conductor Aira Birziņa, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Liepaja Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Riga, musicians of the Jāzeps Vītols Music Academy and Perpetuum Ritmico.
