This Friday (9), Riot Games announced the fifth edition of the CBLOL Awards, an event that always takes place at the end of the season to reward players, coaches and plays that were highlighted during the season. This year, the celebration will be held in November.
In 2021, however, in addition to the categories already known, the publisher announced that a new one was added to the list: the best player of the CBLOL Academy. The rest of the categories remain as in previous editions:
- Best player
- Best Top, Hunter, Middle, Shooter and Support
- best technician
- Breakthrough Player (Award sponsored by Mastercard)
- best move
- Crack of the Guys
- Best Player – CBLOL Academy
All winners will be chosen through voting, involving members of the press, experts and players, with the exception of the Craque da Galera, which is decided by the public.
The CBLOL Award has been held since 2017, but last year it saw its biggest winner. PaiN Gaming’s midfielder, Tinowns, returned home with no less than three statuettes: Best Midfielder, Best Player and Greatest Guy, an unprecedented feat so far.
