LoL: Riot confirms that Akshan can revive allies even after dying

LoL fans were surprised this Wednesday (7) by the announcement of Akshan’s abilities, and for sure his W drew attention for being able to revive allies who were recently killed by an enemy champion. But this goes even further: the rookie will be able to revive his companions even after dying.

Of course there are conditions for this to happen. The discussion came through Twitter and the answer was given by one of the Rioters responsible for designing champions, and you can see his conclusion below in English. Over there, he cited that the sniper needs to damage the champion marked “Scoundrel” in the last three seconds before dying for that to happen.

For those who didn’t understand how the sniper’s W works properly, here it is: when an enemy champion kills an ally he is marked as “Scoundrel” for Akshan. Thus, the sniper can activate the ability and gain invisibility (which persists when standing near terrain), mana regeneration bonuses, and movement speed — not to mention the champion can follow a trail to find the marked opponent. Killing this enemy will bring allies killed by it back into the game.

Even if he loses the trade, if the enemy dies within the next three seconds the persistent mark will cause allies to revive. This can happen when another ally kills the “Scoundrel” or even through a persistent damage effect, such as Ignite or damage from Red. But there is a detail: Akshan cannot revive by his own passive.

So, it became clearer how this whole scheme will work with LoL’s new shooter? Check out all the other abilities of the champion right here at Mais Esports.
