Sacre Carlos! Ocelot is a key figure on the esports scene. The boss of G2 Esports shines with the results of its teams (League of Legends, CS:GO, Valorant, Rocket League…) but also with its presence on social networks. Whether through his provocations, his humor, his bad faith or his leaks, he always finds a way to get people talking about him. He occupies the ground and even if we do not always agree with him, we can only salute his substantive work. He wears high and (very) strong the colors of the Samurai.
It was recently discovered that he had become fan of a French singer. It’s not the scoop of the year, but the information made us smile, especially because the singer in question was not necessarily the one we would have bet on. It also allows us to do a little crowing which is always a pleasure. Failing to win l’Eurovisionwe at least managed to win the heart of Ocelote.
Stronger than Aya Nakamura, Juliette Armanet or Angèle
We are aware that Angèle is Belgian and not French, but these three singers still have one thing in common: they are in competition for the title of “The Song of the Year 2022“, broadcast on June 4 and presented by Nikos Aliagas. Obviously, when you look at the former winners, everyone will have their own idea of the legitimacy of the winners (Kenji Girac, Christophe Maé, Amir, Florent Pagny…) but a distinction remains a distinction and is always a pleasure.
But for once, the one who seduced with her Ocelote voice is Indila. Carlos came across his song “Dernière Danse” (2013) and he particularly appreciated the “Arabic” melody and sounds. The singer is no longer really at her prime and the last song released on her YouTube channel dates from December 2019 (Talk to your head). But she can at least congratulate herself on this small accomplishment… On a misunderstanding, the popularity of the boss of G2 Esports could revive the hype! Joking aside, she still has a small track record:
- A gold record album: Mini World
- A platinum-selling song: Last Dance
- A Music Victory: Breakthrough Album of the Year (2015)
- An MTV Europe Music Awards: Best French Artist (2014)
- Un Trace Urban Music Awards: Artist of the Year (2014)
