Yuri Nagornykh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lokomotiv declared “Sport-Express” that the media activity of striker Artem Dzyuba is his personal business, while he brings results on the field.

Dziuba returned to the RPL in February, signing a contract with Lokomotiv until the end of the season.

To the question of whether the club management is embarrassed that Dzyuba attends a lot of humorous programs, Nagornykh replied: “Artem is first and foremost a football player. While Artem Dziuba realizes himself on the football field, everything that happens outside of it is his life, his positioning. The fact that today he is one of the key players of Lokomotiv, who create an atmosphere, who is most professional in his work, suits us.”

Lokomotiv sports director Dmitry Ulyanov, in response to a question about Dzyuba’s participation in joint releases with Leonid Slutsky on the Comment.Show YouTube channel, where they both used foul language, said “Championship”, that he himself does not watch such programs, but “swearing is bad.”

The 34-year-old Dzyuba has six goals and four assists in nine matches for the Moscow club.

Lokomotiv is 10th in the standings.
