Next weekend, the well-known herb and harvest market will once again take place in the monastery courtyard in Maulbronn. After the improvement of the bus timetables and additional special trains ordered by the state of Baden-Württemberg, market visitors can reach the monastery courtyard every 30 minutes by public transport. This is pointed out by the ecological transport club Germany, district association Pforzheim/Enzkreis eV (VCD), which will once again provide the volunteer train attendants:

This weekend, from Mühlacker to Maulbronn, there will be a half-hourly service from 10 a.m. alternating between bus and train, with buses departing from the bus station at minute 3 and trains at minute 35 (change in Maulbronn-West).

On Sunday, the historic rail bus “Kloster Flitzer” will also be departing from Mühlacker for the last time this season at 11:11, 14:15 and 17:11 from Mühlacker directly to Maulbronn. From Maulbronn, the “Kloster Flitzer” will depart to Mühlacker at 11:33, 14:31 and 17:34, and the last train from Maulbronn will depart at 18:30 via Mühlacker to Pforzheim.

“Visitors to the Mühlacker Street Festival can of course also use these connections,” explains VCD district chairman Marlon Frommer.

From Pforzheim there are fast direct connections every two hours on both days with a journey time of just 20 minutes to Maulbronn, departure from Pforzheim main station at 10:32, 12:32, 14:32 and 16:32. Return journey from Maulbronn at 12:04, 14:04, 16:04 and 18:30.

For tickets, the VCD recommends cheap day tickets from the VPE transport association or the Deutschland-Ticket. Both tickets are also valid on the historic “Kloster Flitzer” rail bus. This is the last opportunity to purchase original “Kloster Flitzer” train destination signs on the train.
