A dramatic accident … A 37-year-old woman fell on Saturday in a swimming pool under construction and impaled herself on a metal bar in Farnay (Loire), report our colleagues progress.

The facts took place shortly before noon on private property. The victim fell into the pit of a swimming pool under construction and ended his fall on a torr, a metal bar protruding from the foundation. The exact causes of the accident remain to be determined.

On the spot, the firefighters had to cut the bar to extract the woman. Injured in the hip, she was transported in absolute urgency to the North hospital of Saint-Priest-en-Jarez.
