A dramatic motorcycle accident occurred Friday, around 3:30 p.m., on the portion of RN88 crossing the territory of Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon.

Still, a 75-year-old motorcyclist living in Saint-Étienne lost control of his Yamaha FJR 1300 at the exit of a slight curve to the right in a sector located above the hamlet of “Loucéa”, after the modeling ground. He was driving towards Yssingeaux, at a “normal” pace according to witnesses.

The motorcycle runs aground a hundred meters from its pilot, off the road
In circumstances that will have to be established by the investigation opened by the gendarmes of the sub-prefecture, the pilot hit the central barrier and his machine went aground a hundred meters further. The motorbike crossed the roadway, left the road, smashed the anti-intrusion fence of the game before lying down in the grass.

Twelve killed on the roads since the beginning of the year
