Loire-Atlantique Taxi Drivers to Cause Disruptions on Nantes Ring Road

Loire-Atlantique taxi drivers announce a new day of mobilization Tuesday morning, which could lead to disruptions on the Nantes ring road. A regional movement which only concerns Pays-de-la-Loire.

Their intention is to block Nantes-Atlantique airport and the Nantes SNCF station until 6 p.m. They are calling for measures to put an end to competition deemed unfair with VTCs and asking for an upgrade in medical transport.

Disturbances on the northern and southern ring roads

The gathering is planned in the Beaujoire parking lot at 7 a.m., where taxi drivers will form two convoys which will leave in snail operation on the north and south ring road and will have the effect of disrupting traffic.

Road users are therefore urged to be vigilant and plan alternative routes if necessary to avoid possible disruptions.
