After sowing the gendarmes, a man from Savenay was found at the reception of the barracks where he came to point as part of his socio-judicial follow-up. (Illustration Liberté – the free man.)
The man, originally from Savenay (Loire-Atlantique), was absent at Saint-Nazaire criminal court. This detainee had to answer for two series oftraffic offenses committed on September 9, 2019 and February 11, 2020.
On September 9, the gendarmes prepare to check the 106, the driver of which they know well drives without a license. They wave to him.
No question of complying, on the contrary, the Savenaysien enters the city center, signaling them that “no, he will not stop”.
Dangerous driving
Reverse, handbrake, U-turn, three burnt stops, upside down roundabouts … For safety, the gendarmes abandon the pursuit.
First surprise: the soldiers find their fugitive at the barracks where he will point as part of his socio-judicial follow-up.
Second surprise: he serves them an absurd defense:
“If the gendarmes hadn’t been behind me, I would never have done that!” “
“I was not going to stop to get arrested”
President Talhouarn does not particularly appreciate it, especially as the individual continues:
“I was not going to stop to be stopped … not seen not taken … You took away my license, I drive anyway. It’s expensive “.
This earned him four months in prison.
“It’s my car, don’t touch! “
On February 11, his father woke him up: “The gendarmes are circling around your car”.
Knowing that she is parked on the sidewalk, which is forbidden, the young person goes down four by four:
“That will be paid for, we are not going to stop there!” “
The soldiers call the pound. The owner of the Audi A4 sits on the hood: “This is my vehicle, you cannot touch it”.
He comes home for a few moments, comes out with a knife and agonizes them over all the litany of insanities they are unfortunately used to hearing.
This time, it will be six months firm, € 135 fine, and € 600 moral damage to be paid to one of the gendarmes, civil party. His lawyer, Me Roux had specified that this young 27-year-old should be encouraged to obtain a driving license that he probably never had, insisting “on the fact that he took advantage of his imprisonment by learning to read and write ”.
On that side, he can continue. On the other hand, the court is not competent to oblige him to take the exam to obtain the pink paper.
