Loire. An octogenarian leaves a nursing home and spends the night outside

On Thursday night, an appeal for witnesses was launched after a resident of the Les Monts du Soir nursing home, in Montbrison, went missing.

Aged 83 and “uncertain”, according to the term used in the call for witnesses, she gave no sign of life in the evening.

The municipal police, gendarmes and firefighters moved to find him.

On a path near the Bullieux ponds

Finally the story ends well: we learned late Friday morning that she had just been found.

“She was on a path near the Bullieux ponds, in the nearby town of Savigneux,” specifies the gendarmerie duty officer.

She spent the night outside “but she is in good health” said the soldier. “She was still taken to the hospital, as a precaution, for tests.”
