Lohr: School child hit – witnesses wanted

On the way to school, a 10-year-old was hit by a car in Lohr last Thursday. The unknown driver drove away without stopping. The police are still urgently looking for witnesses.

The boy had run across a traffic island on Bahnhofstrasse in Lohr. At the same time, a motorist left the roundabout there and stopped in front of the crossing aid. But when the boy was still on the street, he drove off again and hit the 10-year-old. Without stopping, the driver drove on in his black small car from Main-Spessart. The boy suffered a bruise in his knee from the collision.

The police asked witnesses to call 09352 / 8741-0.
