The village school quickly needs additional classrooms. In 2018, Lohn-Ammannsegg had 178 children, today there are 234 and in 2025 there will be 255. There are currently 11 classrooms available, from 2025 13 classrooms will be needed, but depending on developments there could also be 15 or 17 classrooms. The number of school children is secured until 2025 because these children have already been born, said Deputy Mayor Walter Widmer. The reason is the continued increase in population. In two or three years there will be no school space and the capacity of the gym will also be exhausted. Here, too, Widmer, who is responsible for the education department, was able to provide figures for the lack of capacity.
