The third day of the Olympic Games in Tokyo can bring the Czechs their first medal success. Sports shooter Tomeček attacks in a skeet after a successful qualification from fourth place to advance to the finals. His colleague Šumová, who is tenth after Sunday’s qualification, is also in the event.
After the cordist Jakub Jurek, a clericist with Belarusian roots, Choupenitch, who is aiming high, will also perform in the Olympic tournament. The second round of singles is waiting for Czech tennis players. The women’s triathlon race will start half an hour before midnight CENTRAL and will feature two Czech representatives – Vendula Frintová and Petra Kuříková. The men – without Czech participation – fought for gold today and are already at the finish line. Gold was won by Nor Kristian Blummenfelt. The silver was won by the Briton Alex Yee, the third by New Zealander Hayden Wilde.
