“We’ve been together for months, almost a year. Maybe you’ll read it, I’m asking you if you want to be my wife,” Kruse said with a laugh. “She said YES,” the 33-year-old Union Berlin striker later announced on the instagram.
He originally planned to ask his girlfriend for a hand after scoring a goal, but he preferred to change it. He has not scored in the two Olympic tournament matches so far.
