Today, the 31-year-old Roglič followed the bronze of Tadeje Pogačar from Saturday’s road race, in which the winner of the last two years of the Tour de France took care of Slovenia’s first cycling medal.

Roglič, who has two overall triumphs from the Vuelta (2019 and 2020), won the title of Olympic champion with a fantastic performance and won by more than a minute ahead of Dumoulin. Kukrle lost over five and a half minutes to the winner.
